Teacher: Level 2

Jen Scandolera

About

I discovered Simon’s Qigong teaching in 2012, not long after I became qualified as a 200-hour yoga teacher. I continued teaching and learning about yoga along with many other spiritual modalities such as Pranic Healing, Crystal Healing, Yoga Nidra meditation and Sound Healing with crystal bowls.
While I love energy healing and yoga, Qigong kept calling me. I’ve found that Qigong is subtle in its approach and yet strongly profound. I’m a Level 2 Qigong teacher with Master Simon Blow, currently studying to upgrade to a Level 3.
I’m humbled to be able to teach Ba Duan Jin, Shibashi, Liu He Gong, Guigen Qigong, Wudang Longevity Qigong, and recently took part in the Da Yan Rainy Day Practice.

Background:

I believe through the modalities of Qigong, Yoga and energy practices we can help ourselves to heal.
In 2020 I was faced with a diagnosis of esophageal cancer and was treated with chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a huge operation that set me back six months. I found it was Qigong that helped me heal the most quickly.
As soon as I was able to stand in the hospital I found a quiet place to practise Qigong. While physical yoga was something I loved, it was too much at the time- Qigong was perfect. My philosophy of yoga helped immensely, along with Simon’s recorded Qigong meditations.
Many people remarked how quickly I was able to recover, all the while taking my time to honour myself with my practices. Now two years after my operation, I can humbly vouch from firsthand experience that Qigong can help us all.
