Qigong teacher training Carins - May 2016

I have just returned from attending an International Medical Qigong conference in Beijing I have attended many of these conferences since 1998 conducted by the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong. The society is accredited by the Chinese Government and which places great importance on these conferences as a way of spreading and fostering Traditional Chinese Health Cultivation practices and Chinese culture. The good news is that the Chinese Government has changed its policy and will now allow more promotion, development and research of Qigong after many years of neglect. Please visit the new website which in time will be a great platform to publish academic research and discussion papers www.wasmq88.com

Before my trip to Beijing I had the great pleasure to conduct two Da Yan Wild Goose workshops in Bali. Over the last eight years my good friend Anne Love has been organising Yoga and Qigong retreats at the beautiful Bhanuswari Resort and Spa just outside of Ubud. The resort is run by the local village chief Wayan and his very friendly staff. I love the Balinese culture steeped in tradition, everything is done with loving kindness. We had a special visit to Tirtha Empul Temple and received a water blessing under the supervision of Mangku a Hindu Priest and Wayan's brother, a amazing time for all of us, see photo below.

We have a full programme of Da Yan Wild Goose Retreats in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania later this year, see below for details. Please book early as there will be limited spaces available.

Also many weekend workshops up and down the east coast of Australia on the other styles of Qigong that we practise. I'm looking forward to traveling down the South Coast of NSW to Narooma in a few weeks, then onto Euroa in North East Victoria. Also to beautiful Cygnet in Tasmaia and returning to Melbourne in October for a workshop at Croydon with Mandy Rigg and her great team from the Calm Chi Wellbeing Centre. I always enjoy time my in North Queensland and it will be pleasure to return to Atherton in October.  see below for full programme and book though our local contacts.

Due to demand, we have conducting two four day teacher training programs this year, which as been designed for those who already have a good working knowledge of the Qigong practises from the book/DVDs The Art of Life and Restoring Natural Harmony.
