Da Yan - Wild Goose Qigong

We have just returned from an amazing trip to China, studying Da Yan Wild Goose Qigong with Grand Master Chen and his family in Wuhan. During this trip we welcomed another initiated student into the Da Yan family when Frank Pierce from Euroa, Victoria was accepted as a 29th Generation Student. I have known Frank since 2011, he is a dedicated and passionate healer and through his experience is able to share his knowledge of these ancient healing arts. Frank is a fantastic massage therapist and Qigong teacher leading classes in the North Eastern area of Victoria.

Study groups have been arranged to travel to China to learn Da Yan Wild Goose Qigong since 2009. Australia has the largest number of initiated (indoor) students teaching traditional Wild Goose Qigong outside of China.
We are committed to continue to provide quality training and instruction through workshops, retreats, tours to China and from the publishing of books and DVDs. see link to next year's tour

May 2019 Daoist Culture - Da Yan Wild Goose Training Tour
During the 2019 tour we will gain a deep understanding of Daoism (Taoism). Since 2006 Qigong Master Simon Blow has built a special relationship with the Chang Chun  'Eternal Spring' Daoist Monastery in Wuhan, which is the governing temple of Daoism for Hubei Province. Simon is an initiated student of the Abbess Wu Cheng Zhen and a 25th Generation of Dragon Gate Daoism. We will spend four days studying meditation and Daoist scripture and philosophy with the Daoist Masters at the Monastery. Other healing arts that have originated from the Daoist tradition include Acupuncture, Acupressure Massage, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Feng Shui, Qigong and Taijiquan.

Da Yan Wild Goose Qigong is a classic and historical Qigong practise dating from the Jin Dynasty, 1700 years ago. It’s healing and spiritual legacy has been passed down though many generations. The foundation of the Da Yan Wild Goose Qigong system is the 1st 64 movement set. We will receive direct instruction and guidance from the linage family in the peaceful grounds of the Eternal Spring Monastery.

Another highlight of this training tour is a four day trip to Wudang Mountain; Wudangshan is one of the sacred Daoist Mountains of China and has a very special energy. We have been fortunate to visit this amazing place on many previous study tours.

September 2019 China Qigong Study Tour
China is a very cultural diverse society with a long, proud history. This year’s tour we will spend time in the north of this amazing country in the Inner Mongolian Autonomous area. These tours have an element of study combined with cultural activities and sightseeing. Traveling with a smaller, dedicated group allows us to move more freely and make morning Qigong practice an enjoyable way to start each day.

On the September 2019 tour, we will gain a deeper insight into the Chinese health cultivation exercises at the Shanghai Qigong Research Institute. We will spend three days at the Institute studying an ancient Qigong practise called Liu He Gong (Six Unity Exercise) harmonising the Body, Breath and Mind, leading to the cultivation of Essence, Energy and Spirit (Jing, Qi ,Shen).

Our journey starts in the great city of Shanghai, then we fly to Huhehot the capital of Inner Mongolian; we have a home stay with a traditional family in a Yurt out on the Grasslands, visit the most sacred area in all of Mongolia, the Tomb of Genghis Khan. Also we will spend time at Wudangzhao which is the largest and best preserved Tibetan Lamasery in Inner Mongolia. We will also see the Yungang Grottoes with its famous 7 metre cave Buddha in Datong. We will also spend time at the Daoist Monastery discussing ideas about life cultivation with the Daoist Masters.

Our journey ends in Beijing as we gaze in wonderment at the Imperial Palace in all its glory, visit the Great Wall and peer into history as you follow with your eyes the Great Wall disappearing into the distant peaks. Beijing is a rapidly expanding city, maintaining elements of its ancient past and emerging future.

In places we visit you will absorb the powerful Qi, practice Qigong and meet Grand Masters. This is a tour of a lifetime, please book your place early as there will be limited spaces available.

The  Da Yan Wild Goose Qigong is an ancient cultivation practise originating from the Jin Dynasty about 1700 hundred years ago. The movements represent the flight of Wild Geese and help to expel toxins from the body, cleanse the meridians, improve blood flow and draw in and circulate fresh Qi. The first 64 Movement set deals primarily with the "post natal” body and addresses illnesses or injuries that have developed as a result of everyday life.  Having  dredged  the  channels  in  the  first  64  form, the second 64 movement  set  deals  primary  with the “pre natal” body and is designed to clear the  channels, absorb fresh Qi, expel stale Qi and restore organ balance

We are proud to announce the 2018  residential retreat programme for the Da Yan Wild Goose Qigong on the 1st and 2nd 64 movement sets. We have retreats in New South Wales and Victoria,  see programme below.

If you are interested in helping organise and host a retreat in your area please contact Simon directly Ph (02) 9559 8153  simon@simonblowqigong.com
